Dying to self isn't about losing identity

Finding our worth and value in Christ is the only answer for our feelings of unworthiness, unloved or or thinking we are devalued. God sent his own to take your place on the cross. He loves. He is love. There is nothing greater than feeling the acceptance and adoration the Lord has for me.

I am a child of God. You are a child of God. It is part of our kingdom identity . We have to know who God is and who we are in order to trust Him.

How often do I see my familiar scars and identify with them through a lens of raw emotion regarding yesterday’s wounds? How often do I feel The weight of the wounds I carry and allow their defeat to wash over me again? I run my finger over the scars and remember. I touch the wounds and wish they hadn’t happened. There are days I identify myself by my wounds. Failure. Broken. Unloved. Wrong decisions.

Ever wonder what would have happened if David had walked away and never fought Goliath? What if Peter had stayed on the boat and not answered the "Saviors" call to be a disciple? What if Moses said he was tired after the 5th plague and went back to the farm? How important is our obedience? How important is it for us to be about the business of the kingdom?
